Green Directory at Automechanika

As an acknowledgement of our great commitment to a sustainable and environmental approach to remanufacturing, we are pleased to announce that we have been accepted in the 2014 Green Directory of Automechanika.

The Green Directory is a response to an emerging trend in the automotive industry - automotive sustainability. The "green visitor guide" to Automechanika is made to highlight companies who work actively with sustainability, and lists only those exhibitors who make a particularly "green" contribution via their innovations and services.

- Repairing, reconditioning and reselling defective electronic components is afuture-oriented technology that is growing in importance, explains jury member, Dr. Gerhard Angerer of Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.

- Remanufacturing electronic components requires in-depth knowledge of the system architecture and complex test algorithms. The technology is applicable to both carsand trucks and is a model for other product groups where a throwaway mentality still exists today, e.g., in the field of entertainment electronics, Dr. Gerhard Angerer continues.
